File Menu "File Merge..."

File Merge (and Decode) is provided for those of you who use a news reader that doesn't
allow the direct appending of articles while saving off the net.  Without this feature, you
might have many files (one article per file) which you would then have to open up and
merge together using a text editor.  UULite will merge these files together for you and, if
you choose, uudecode them for you at the same time.

To use this feature, select "File Merge..." from the "File" menu and select each article in
the correct decoding order.  UULite will not reorder them for you.  There is no limit to the
number of articles (or encoded images) that you may merge into one file.  When you have
no more articles to merge, press the "Done" button.  UULite will then merge the articles
together, save the merged file to disk and, if your File Merge Preferences so specify,
proceed to decode it.  You may also use this feature just for merging
text files.
